The Bashful Banana Cafe' located on the Ocean City Boardwalk in New Jersey serves healthy gourmet meals with great taste and appel. Our focus is to provide delicious food created with fresh indgredients cooked on premis to order, we do home cooking in a healthy manner and our food proves you don't have to sacrifice great taste for healty nutritional food. 

Our muffins, bagel, cookies and cakes are baked fresh and we offer selections that have low cal, low fat, whole grain, high fiber, vegan, gluten free and non dairy selections.  Our smoothies are made with only 100% fruit and no added sugar or are premixed.  Our very own Banana Whip is our version of a frozen custard made with just bananas, toppings can include non dairy chocolate chips, granola, fresh fruit and all fruit fudge sauce, and yes its only Bananas!  Our coffee  is Green Mountain Coffee that is organic and Fair trade Certified!  Please come and visit our new coffee bar offering espresso, capachinno, coffee drinks and fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.

We are in the middle of our much needed remodel. THANK YOU OCEAN CITY for granting our permits and letting our remodel go forward.  We are now expanding into the business next door which will give us more counter and kitchen space and a much needed walk in refrigerator AND INSIDE SEATING!  WE WILL DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF OUTSIDE SEATING--NO MORE LONG LINES WAITING FOR TABLES!  We are also adding a coffee bar specializing in espresso & cappachino drinks and as always relying on Green Mountain Coffee to bring the same quality to their Fair Trade Organic coffee selections.

At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to present you with our entire spectrum of offers as soon as possible. We are revising our menu, and as soon as it is completed it will be posted, please keep checking this site for new updates and remodel pictures.
